Several members selling off stuff all the sudden. Kinda makes ya wonder. Bob's selling his motor he just dyno'd and we're all drooling over (small block guys), Lil Demon selling, Bonefish selling the cuda..., Eric selling the arrow..., and several other notables selling or just sold. What's going on?

Bob is just being smart IMO, he should turn a decent profit off the sale and work on another one, same thing for less money.

Lil' Demon for 23,000 seems like the steal of the year, I thought I read it backwards.

No doubt about that one!! Knowing the history, Attn to detail and love that went into that one makes is worth every penny!! I wish I was able to jump on it? If someone is looking for a quality car and has the $$$, they need look no further.

No doubt about it that times are tough and for enuff money I`d sell thumper but, I can`t imagine what I`d do not being able to make a few passes or drive it like I do now.

Well if I dont find a driver this spring I'll put
my car up for sale.... maybe my whole rig, truck,
trailer 43ft LQ and car... I would most likely keep
my spare engines

Heck we are still trying to find a good QUALITY 6.00 Mopar for less than a gazillion dollars. I dont understand why every 6.00 Mopar out there is at least $20K more than a comparable or BETTER GM product. I know I have been offered way to much for my turd and sometimes regret not selling it. Also makes me see the light as to why Megadart has a Firechicken....I missed a nice 63 Vette earlier this year on some bad advice from someone who "knew" the car. It turns out it is still a first class car bought by a fellow local guy for under $35K for a 6.00 RJ car. Could have had a 2200lb RJ car with a B1MC motor in it running TS already. Oh well....

BTW someone really needs to buy LilDemons car

I would LOVE to drive your car and only have partial responsibility for travel, storage, maintenance etc. Be picky though, you have some nice equipment, get a GOOD driver.

I plan on being picky... I dont want just anyone
but I would like a younger driver with good reactions.
I will still offer the same package, pay entry, food,
and 1/2 the winnings.... I have a LQ trailer so if
they want to stay in the trailer... cool or they
pay for their lodging

I know it doesnt need to be a young person but it helps.
I dont plan on moving down there.... so thats out of
the question(will be down in the Cape San Blas) in
Feburary for the month.... thats all I can handle
the heat for

I made that mistake once before, sold the best race car I ever had to pay hospital bills. It took me 8 years to get caught up and buy another one.

I've been out of work for 3 months and my race car is in the garage on jack stands...that's where it will stay until I'm back to work.

No... its in the trailer again(was in my shop for a
week while I was on the Drag Week)..... I'm still working
on my shop... electrical, hoist and the boiler for the
heating.... plus the office/clean room..... so its
sitting till next season..... due to the lack of time
and funds
