Main well emulsion percentage - 09/12/09 08:03 PM

Thanks to a link on Quicktree's "Dominator Tuning" thread, I have a firm handle on the 3 to 2 circuit conversion. I am wondering if anyone here restricts the emulsion holes in the main well? On a typical 4150 Holley main metering block, I believe (memory only here) there are two, one at the top, and one at the bottom. If I plug one, do you think it would be the one above the float level or below?

Nothing like answering my own thread. I would guess I would try plugging the lower one, since the more the well is uncovered by the fuel level, the more air is added to the emulsion making the total fuel curve leaner. No?

Leave the bleeds as they are , if anything drill the kill bleeds if not already been drilled.
