I'm running a solid roller setup and have oil dumping out of the bottom of 2 lifter bores. You guys think I should tube the oil galleys or will I be OK?

It's great that you found it before running the motor 
Would you run fast and long with blood leaking out of a artery in your leg 
Which brand of soild rollers are you using? Some of the roller lifters have a longer skirt on one side that may cover the oil galley so it doesn't leak. It's odd that only two are leaking

Man if you pump up oil pressure on the starter motor with the oil hot you will be tubein or bushin it for sure

The lifters are Doug Herbert's. The motor is still on the engine stand but the bottom end is assembled and the heads are on. Can I still tube it without getting metal chips everywhere? As you can tell I haven't done this before.

I had a set of Herbert lifters on an unbushed/untubed block several years ago. It had about 40 pounds peak oil pressure. I switched to Isky long bodied and problem solved.

Mopar sells a tube kit thats easy to do, We ran a hyd roller a few years back so we had full oiling to the lifters , engine held 50#s pressure hot but when the oil was hot it leaked lots of oil out the lifter bores, with a solid roller you are better off with all that oil down at the crank not blowin all over the lifter valley makin extra windage for the crank to pick up

Drilling & reaming the oil gallery, the steps necessary prior to driving/pressing in the copper tube, generates many ferrous turnings & debris. Drilling the oil passageways into the copper tube generates many copper turnings. Enlarging the oil feed lines [recommended by Mopar] generates even more debris.
Only you can decide if this "easy" operation requires an engine teardown/block scrubbing step.
Also, you may find that the tools provided in the Mopar kit do not exactly "fit" your particular engine block casting [for various reasons] & it is necessary to invest in more precise tooling in order to finish the job.
When you consider these minor complications, the option of investing in a different set of solid roller lifters becomes the more economical choice....
Only you can decide if this "easy" operation requires an engine teardown/block scrubbing step.

My hyd roller lifters never uncovered the oil gallery, they leaked from lifter bore ware, with the engine oil cold it did not leak on a drill on oil pump shaft when priming but hot oil on the starter motor pissed oil every where, I was surprised on how much oil loss there was,After that we bushed all our lifter bores, I can see how the change in lifter design may help if you think you are uncovering the gallery but if its from lifter bore ware a lifter change may not solve your problem
