From what I understand, Randy Worford's is there, as well.

According to Patsy Hill's report on classracer, they appear to be about a tenth behind the Ford in A/SA.....but we've only just begun. Should be interesting.

The Cobra Jets have had a year more of tweaking. Is Calvert going to be there ? Fords will be tough, but Doug will triumph in the end..

I saw the ETs for the mopes, and the MPH seemed WAY low. 10.14 ish at 117 and 119. Lifting early?

The Challengers are hanging right in there...Randy Warfords' has run 10.01. David Barton's single four barrell Hemi Coronet is right near the top, as well.

Duell's car only has one weekend prior to this on a new engine combo. It is unbelievable to stand next to that car when its idleing. It sounds like a 500+ cubic inch engine. Meaning it has this very deep throaty sounding hit when it fires unlike the traditional pop of a small block. It is most impressive

A post on Classracer.com has the MPH of both Johns and Doug and both are baggin if the mph posted is correct. 119 for Johns and 117 for Doug. Don't know if the poster is correct or not.

That's just what I was going to say... I hope they didn't give him the car just as a publicity deal where he will just match race it and doesn't try to get it into national events.. There's no reason for that, for crying out loud he had John Donato helping him set the car up. There were alot of other racers who could have used that help who would have raced it.

He had some sort of breakage and had to be pushed off of the line.

He went a 10.45, not quick enough to get into the show. I was something like .8 under, this in the second round.

Duell and Warford both stepped up a bit.

Sounds like Big Daddy should have dropped his car off at either Dougs or Mike Roth's shop .. It does suck he came up short. Hope he doesn't hate Dodge for his loss..

Wonder what is going on with John Shaul's 64? that car has been much faster than he's running? Kinda suprising? Duel has that Challenger running pretty darn good, he's come a long way with it.

Don was not parked next to Doug he was over there putting on a set of Dougs extra headers. In round two Doug redlit .031 against a .060 and was passed at the 1/8 by the ford. The fords 1/8 mile apx 6.24!
