Stud girdles and allum main caps DO THEY WORK?They look like a good ideal.Any body have real would exp?I'll be making a little over 800 hp this year just curious.

Yes they do work as the main girdle cap combo I make is now 90% of what I sell. I have hundreds of these kits out there and most are in the 650-850 hp range. Feedback has been very favorable and it was some experts on this board who helped design and make this kit pretty much the standard by which all others are judged. stupid question I guess, but I have been wondering for a while now... is it still recommended to run a girdle with an aftermarket block? thanks for the response.

The good aftermarket blocks probally don't need a girdle due to the engineering on increasing the strength and the better materials used in them. If you can swing buying a Compacted Graphite Iron block that is the way to go if your wanting the best cast iron block out there 
The high nickel blocks(Koffels sells) are better than the regular aftermarket cast grey iron blocks like the World and probally the Indy blocks. All the after market blocks are way better than the stock production blocks
