360 LA Distributor upgrade

I need information for a 360 LA motor 1975.

Currently has points.

Going into a 1987 3/4 ton truck

I am told there are one wire distributors you an buy and eliminate all the factory mopar ballast resistors and stuff?

Can anyone point me in the right direction for this.

Going to try this on my next build.

Somebody put that point distributor in that motor, Mopar had switch all the production V8 to electronic ignition after 1971

Put a pertronix kit in it. its a one wire set up.

This looks t be the next big thing. Just read the manual and what I like is it appears to have taken the place of an MSD box or is a great enhancement to a 6AL box with the ability to do a detail tune on timing.
