4.10 Pro gears - 12/11/23 05:23 PM

Does anyone remember/know if Richmond made a 4.10 Dana Pro gear for a series 3 carrier??? I have two sets of new/used gears that the original boxes are long gone and I am trying to set up on a 4 series carrier and I have un correctable cross. the Ring gear part number are an 82-XXXX-1 and when I check on line with Richmond it comes back no such number(s)

Yes they did I used them in the past in a Dana 60. I don't remember the part number, but the ring gear is really thin.

Well I bounced my issues off DoctorDiff (Cass) and he came to the same conclusion I had... don't know what to do. So I swapped in another set of the same 82-XXX-1 ring gear part number but the ring gear bolts were bottoming out and the washes trashed so fresh versions are on the way. As an aside, I used to work for the company that invented the Hypoid Ring and pinion and have even held the first Hypoid pinion ever made in my hot little hand. But I left there 17 yrs ago and all my contacts have since left as well. Otherwise I 'd know exactly what these are. Any way, I sent an Email request to Richmond as well as a phone message but no reply to date. Anyone have a set of 8620 (std ) 4.10 gears laying around that would be will to take some measurements for me??? Overall crown height and Root height might reveal some information.
