Spark Plug Cross Reference

Spark Plug Cross Reference - 07/19/23 02:04 PM

See all kinds of cross reference charts, they are similar but just little difference. Trying to find local source after accidentally cracking one and realized I had to order spares, no parts store had one in stock.

I called Champion to see if they would help but was told they are discontinue the racing line of plugs, Anyone else heard this?

Does anyone had any real dimensions?
I did some rough measuring the depth into the threads and height of electrode on few sets of different plugs I had around here.

I started this with a chart from Autolite to convert. I dug thru master catalogs looking for similar plugs and added them just for comparison

I googled autolite plugs to find out the heat range of the specific plugs I have but the charts are broad/of no use but it did show the plug dimentions If that would be of help to you

What Champion plug number on the Portlyn are you looking for? I have a lot of plugs in stock,, both Champion and Autolite.
I may have one or more of the plugs you want to sell replace up work

Much easier to read right side up up

I cracked a 3911 but already have one coming.

This just made me think about what's really different between the plug brands and cross reference chart

Just edited the top post to show what I measured, thought made the heat range of the plug.
