E85 users 1.82 at Sheetz

Stopped at Sheetz to get some E85 for my Barracuda yesterday on way home from racetrack.

1.82 with the Sheetz card! 5 gallons of 100+ octane goodness for 9.00 lol. Been awhile since I seen that. Tested it, and its E80, which is all I have ever seen at Sheetz with my tester. I searched it when I got home and seen they lowered the price through the end of April so I am breaking the 55 gallon drum out this week.

Your post made me check my area (NC) and Sheetz is selling E85 for $1.85 also.

You used to run it in your Dart with Rons injections right Jim? If Alky gets any higher I might give it a try.

Yes. I ran both methanol and E85 in my Rons Injection. Simple nozzle jet and pill change once you find the tune that works for each.
Many others were running larger (35) nozzle jets with methanol. But these are the tunes I was running:
0.5 Gold vane pump, 4.1" Flying Toilet
511 CID, 7250 finish line rpm (1/4 mile)

Methanol: 33 nozzle jets, 0.098" bypass pill
Pump E-85: 26 nozzle jets, 0.106" bypass pill
Idle barrel valve adjusted for each.

i seen that a few days ago.we dont have those stores in st.louis.i use e85 all the time.last time paid 2.99

VP 112 is 14.50 here.

Man o man.....I remember paying a little over $4 a gallon for VP years ago.

It was good stuff but just got too pricey for the number of passes we made each year.

I haven't bought any race gas up here in Oregon in a long time, I have heard that one of the local petroleum bulk plant whole sellers use to sell the Rocket brand race gas in 5 gallon pails for around $9.00 a gallon plus the pail costs, no refund on the pails
There is a local non affiliated gas station that sells VP race gas out of three different pumps,, diesel and E85. I'll try and remember to see what they are selling those VP race fuels for a gallon now

That's why I built my 512 for pump gas.
