I did a draw through carb for a friend with a similar set up in a sand rail.....Hauls azz.....

One of the toughest engines I've had my hands on. Like everything else, do stupid stuff, win stupid prizes!

Yup...
In the 80s Landy did some building of VWs...
He also built some awesome flathead engines as well..
We often went by his shop(DLI), he was incredible.
Also he would often show up @ our Friday car cruise nites @ Flames on Corbin a couple of blocks north of his shop...

When I worked for him, we put out probably about 5 to 6 a year
