Stage V head studs - 11/20/22 04:08 PM

Anyone know if the Stage V Hemi heads require something special for head studs? Using Barton T&D rockers. Can i use bolts? This build is 12:1 compression hot street deal.

They are stock thickness. But I forgot if the Ray Barton rockers take a shorter stud there. I can't use head bolts in an aluminum block. Edit: Ray's website says it uses stock head bolts.

I've been seeing some ARP head stud kits on ebay.

just my opinion as a career machinist of 45 years before retirement, and still practicing my craft today, i would use studs in all performance builds utilizing aluminum heads.
studs, in my opinion, offer a better clamping load.
i am no engine builder, but clamping large work pieces to CNC machining tables, studs always worked better than bolts.
just my opinion, your mileage will vary.
