Understanding it doesn't have max wedge ports, anything preventing it from being bolted up to Trickflow 270 heads and just taking a performance hit? I'm considering having one should the Trickflow intake not have good street manners.

I I checked the link you provided and that intake says stock port size.

I believe as cast it’s stock port, but it has larger runners and they charge
$100 to cnc the ports to max wedge size. Same deal with modman

The Indy 440-2D basically has MW sized runners internally....... that are filled in/shrunk down to std port size down by the gasket surface.

Imo, they’re a pretty good choice for a BBM with MW heads........that needs something that will fit under the hood.

That being said, I can’t really imagine a stroker BB having many drivability problems with a std port single plane on it.

TF used the Track Heat manifold for their 505” test mule combo, saying it’s “port matched”.
Be interesting to see how close that port match was....... and how far up the ports they went.
