Admittedly they don't test all that much but Mullet seems to show how sensitive tuning is at that power level to getting down the track on radials. They switched from the LS to a SMX big block with bigger turbos and so far it's only gone 3 tenths quicker!

The stick car next to him is apparently running a 1st gen SBC, pretty incredible.

Thats pretty stout up bow
Is that with or without a power adder?
PM me if you want with a reply, please. I'm working on a new combination for some local No Prep up here in the Norwest, shooting for low 4. at 160 + MPH with big tires in the 1/8 mile: luck:

I have found the stuff Cleetus does pretty interesting, there is plenty of dumb involved but he shares the struggles as well as the wins when it comes to his drag racing efforts.

He had the same guy in the final of two different classes last night at FL2K. He went 6.59@219 on a 275 tire at 3550lbs. That is moving. He also got Peter Harrel of HED involved with the tuning and found damn near a half second once he figured out how to use the davis traction control.

Same here. What's even more impressive is he does the drag and drive events with the car! He's not afraid to get in, get dirty and learn what he needs to.

They are finally getting all of the fleet sorted with a little help from professionals. It will be interesting to see James get the 240SX figured out since that thing is so small and light!

That blazer with the roots blown LS on it really surprises me, and I think it did them as well. I never thought that would be an 8 second deal.
