Saddest post I have ever made, 😥

My pit crew, bride and love of my life went to heaven Tuesday the 6th. She was truly an answer to a prayer to God, and more than I could have dreamed of. Miss you, Sandy, 😥

Greg, I never met her, but it breaks my heart just to read your post. I don't know what words, if any will help, but I'll be praying that in time you receive comfort, peace, and understanding.

Ive thought of this scenario for the last few years with my wife, we’re both 73, been married 51 years but together 55. If she passes I will be lost no doubt. I have no answers but I hope you have someone for support to help through this tough time. My eyes are tearing up as i write this and my heart is out to you.

My wife has been going thru serious health issues for more than 25 years and I’ve been fearing that I might lose her throughout all of those years. It is the hardest thing to deal with. Damn it Greg….. you know this forum is “race” topics only. We have strict protocols to keep the overall forum on point and not to “dilute “ it with personal stuff….. yeah, whatever. When you’ve been a part of a community so long, you become “family” so to speak, and you’re hurt becomes ours. I’m oh so glad you had the experience of a love so enduring it became one. I’m hopefully midterm in such a comparative relationship. Our world can be split at a moments notice. I’m glad you’ve lived such an experience. Sandy sounds like she was an incredible 1/2 to you. Thankyou again to everybody. Yes, it hurts. A lot. But I shed tears, then the good Lord gives me rest from the pain for a while. So I will work through it, and get back on my feet at some point, so to speak. My Sandy was precious beyond words. Here she is, about 1992. My forever pit crew!
