Been 7500 on the Hemi and 8000 on the SB a bunch of times...
But there's a mental picture of broken spendy stuff that would flash in my head before I shifted.
Enough of that, and I curbed my enthusiasm by 500 RPM

you know how these little engines are we have to twist their arm behind their back until they squeal we actually will run another 5 to 600 RPM more in the car than we do on the dyno
