new zealand iron heads. champion rn12yc & autolite 3924/5224 are too short & autolite 5325 are too long. thank you for your time. RR

If design intent is 3/4" reach, which I think most of us would probably agree on as a 5.2/5.9 magnum head, I believe
I would not want to stick future users of the engine with an oddball spark plug, and I would want to correct the machining error
by spotfacing the spark plug hole to the proper depth in order to use the intended spark plug.
