Please let us know how it checks out and what if anything needs fixed or machined before it is usable.

I will be looking it over visually and measuring a few things, I might not know much more for a bit because nobody bought my race car which was to help fund the Hemi for my '66 Barracuda.....And finding a chevy journal 4.15 crank has been a lost cause.

Barton told me he has built 30-40 of these blocks this year with little to no problems.

I got an eight-bolt flange 4.150 440 source forged crank in good shape, took it out when I upgraded to a 4.25 stroke. I had it sent to machine shop polished and checked, they said it was in good shape.

This year we have built 27 hemis and 3 wedge with the Callies block and have had zero problems. Depending on the build you should only need to hone and assemble.

I guess your looking for something better, but Eagle makes ( or used to make) a 4.15 crank with 2.2 journal.
I bought one a year or two ago

Found it.
