Long way from the street to a fence but you never know.[BOOOO,lol] ty it is good to be in it.
I get on the gas at 1:50 sec and 2:50 into the video and I am suprised to see 10+ # of boost where I took 15% drive out from where I raced it with 14# at 10% OD.

Thanks Mike, your the man. that was a great video. I enjoyed checking out the houses and street view in Ohio.

Everytime you gassed it, I laughed. The neighbours must love it when you take it out.

What size is your blower? How big is the motors C.I.?
I have pump gas blown 440 in the shop now fixing it from lifter tie bar breaking and ruining two lifters and hurting the cam, it has a BDS 6:71(I'm not sure if it is a standard or bigger rotor 6:71 blower) with two D.P. Holley on it, What size they are I do not know because I haven't check them yet.
It is a street only cruiser, not a racer except for him wanting to do burn outs after leaving some of the local car shows in our local parks shruggy

I have an 18 strip teflon 8-71 TBS I have used for many yrs[15] 446 wedge .630 112 lsa roller 109 ICL.I am working my way to getting back on the track and reduced the OD to calm thing down and put the exh to quiet things down.To check the boost I could try another gage but it is what it is.I will get to a test n tune soon I hope but I have ET street tires that should be good at lower boost that I was setting the blower at.I need to cert my belts, get slicks, cert my cage[10pt] and test driveing the car was setting the stage to get those to be sure I was ready.

Just an observation but I noticed different metering blocks on your carbs, billet and stock on each carb which unless the angle channels, emulsion pack and ifr's are the same it's gonna be a bit "off" and why did it keep stalling....

Like I said above "The car stalled shifting into 2nd too soon and on restart I forgot I shut the f pump off.I still get 10+ # at 6# UD on the blower." I also have the idle a little low for a cold engine but when warm it is better.Yes I have 1 billet metering block on 1 carb but let it go for now pls.The long/short of it is I was able to adj the fuel with the 1 plate to get 10.5 afr so I just left it and went on to other things.

Thanks for sharing that with me, I 'm assuming that this motor, now 505 C.I. when it was 446 C.I. before, will be limited on power with low boost under driven with the 6;71 so hopefully he won't hurt himself or the bigger motor luck

Thank you.I am slowly getting things worked out.I started with towing my car to a car show and shifting the trans for the 1st time in the parking lot just casual driving.I have some trust in the car now and feel a lot better about how things will go.I adapted my headers for a street exhaust w/mufflers so I could drive around testing the car and the bullet mufflers really nocked down the noise.I did what I needed to do to make progress I know it it not pretty.I also made a blower cover so if I go to the track and it rains while towing it will not go in the carbs.

I got my EGT IAT meter back out to check the IAT now with less OD and -2# boost and it should be lower.
