6.760 H Beam rod weight - 05/23/21 03:10 PM
I need 2 replacement 6.760 H beam rods and am having a hard time finding any with the same weight. The rods I have are 750 grams with ARP 2000 1.60 bolts. Most of the rod listings for a Mopar journal are 830 to 880 grams. 440 Source says their rods are the lightest but don't list a weight on the website. Does anyone know the weight of the 440 Source 6.760 H Beam rod. Can anyone identify this rod?

440 source 6760H w/.990 pin, ARP2000 bolts,Mopar big end. Total weight 745grams. Big end 518grams. Pin end 227grams. Went to BME aluminum rods, same configuration, only about 30grms lighter but supposed to be a better shock absorber. Time will tell. Bill

I checked a Eagle rod & a Ohio Crankshaft rod, both H-beam, 6.760" long, with .990 pins & Mopar big end. Eagle w/ Carrillo bolts 881g, OCS w/ ARP 2000 bolts 844g.

Does anyone have any 440 Source 6.760 rods for sale? I need 2 rods or a whole set to get my motor back together for our first race next week and don't have time to rebalance the crank. I called 440 Source and they don't carry that style anymore.
