POWER BRAKE

anybody running power brakes 1/4 mile, low vacuum engine, building car now, 1975 b-body, switch to manual?? 4000 lb car, staging issues ??

The low vacuum part is easily solved with an electric vacuum pump. Do away with the vacuum line from the engine and just use the pump for brake vacuum.

The weight savings from eliminating the booster on a 4000 lb car isn't apt to show up on a time slip in any significant way.
