Rebuilding Roller Lifters

Just wondering if anyone knows of a place that is rebuilding roller lifters. I used to get mine done at Comp but I guess they stopped doing it a couple of years ago. Any suggestion would be appreciated. I always had 3 sets that I had in rotation but I got lazy on sending them back. Now I need a set and don't have any!!!!

a couple years ago I purchased some Comp solid roller lifters just because they had a rebuilding service for those lifters. So when it came time to freshen the engine, I called Comp, they told me they got out of the rebuilding business. First I paid extra for the lifters because they were quote "rebuildable," second seems to me they owed it to their customers who purchased them, to at least notify them that they were cancelling the service. I will never buy a Comp lifter again. And the ones I purchased held up just fine, its the idea of the whole deal.

They told me at PRI in 2019 that the vendor they buy the lifters from won't sell them individual parts anymore.

Maybe time to find another vender.I have all Comp stuff as well. These lifters have been rebuilt twice. The AMC spec lifter with oiling.

I had a set that had 150 passes. Decided since a few spread and one had a bad bearing to go to Isky Redzone bushed. That was 500 pass ago. No need to pull them yet. 300/805 spring pressure.

Doug do you have a part number for those? I am getting ready to get new ones to go into my newly bushed wedge megablock. What makes them so much better to last 500 passes?

There are several part numbers for various push rod depths. Two bushing material options. Offset lifter option. I would call them. The bodies on mine haven't spread. The bushings are more forgiving than needle bearings. Lash check seldom have more than one valve out of adjustment. And then we're talking .001"

Have not purchased a set of bushed rollers, heard some stuff through the grapevine that until you build oil pressure, bushed roller lifters make the engine harder to roll over. Did you notice any of that when it was on the engine stand?

My motor has always been tough to turn when fully assembled. With just the pistons, rigs and crank you can turn it by the crank snout with your hand. With plugs and valve train its very difficuly to turn with ether style lifter. I'm surprised it hasn't ever broken a starter. Stock Mopar mini.
