yes, another need pics thread! Looking for ideas/inspiration for my 64 Fury. Random pics are great. If its your car, please add details on wheel/tire size, tubs, min tubs, no tubs spring relocation or not.

10.5Wx31. Tubbed, but stock location rear rails. Wheelbase is shortened 3" Front of the wheel wells are moved forward 4".

This is my original setup with leaf springs and a roll bar. It is now back halved with big tire options. A lot more fiberglass and aluminum interior. Not done yet, tho. Jim.

Been in the family since new. My boys will be the 5th generation behind the wheel.

Usually a 30x9 slick on a 15x8 wheel. Stock spring location. Top pic shows the only time we ran a 28-11.50 ET Street on an 1/8 mile track.

older pic of my 65 coronet. 15x7 torque thrust all around. currently has 15x8's in back and 15x6 up front torque thrusts.don't race the car, probably never will, sweet driver.

I put 15x10 Americans , 3 3/8" backspace on the rear of my 65 . Narrowed 9" mini tubbed up to the frame rail . SS springs mounted inboard on the frame rails.

15x7 front with 225/70/15
15x8 rear with 255 BFG’s but rubbed. Now have 235/75/15
Factory housing, spring location and tub.

One of the few i have had. I think I'm ready for a keeper this time. This car currently resides in Michigan now Jim races brackets and NMCA NSS some with it.

Here's a couple shots of mine for ya.... 205 70-15s up front and 325 50-15s out back. Springs moved in to frame rails. Stock wheel tubs.
I did "clearance" the inner wheel tub on the back with a little hammering.

Front: 225/70-15 on 7", now 235/60-15 for better fit.
Back: 275/60-15 on 8", stock spring location and tubs.

I ran 245/45-18 in front and 295/45-18 out back on Boyd Coddington Smoothie II wheels.
Factory spring location and stock wheel wells. I clearanced the outer wheel houses inside the quarters with a bit of percussive maintenance.

Buddies 64 Plymouth. I backhalfed it last winter. 14x32 slicks, w/ 14” rims.

Ya know I don't recall exactly. I wanna say they were 6" but don't quote me on that. Both those cars I had pictured were Dana cars the green one was a stock wheel tub car. Did it in a carport on a military base in 99-2000

My next one Id like to do a post car. As a keeper.

I had a 64 Savoy wagon as well at one point. But never got around to doing much with it. But the new owner killed it with a modern EFI Hemi and OD. Car looks great now Randy did a fantastic job with it.

Thanks. I'm starting to think about selling it. I've had it 40 years but it might be time to downsize a bit. I'd keep it if my kids were interested but they aren't.

I run a 15x12 wheel with 7"bs on the back of my 65. Ladders bars, no tubs, fits a 29.5x10.5W.
