Oil everywhere

So I have had the 451 going a couple times this year. Firstly on a carb and now on Holley EFI. The engine is now covered in oil, leaking from who knows where or maybe every gasket on the thing. Is it possible that the engine not having a pcv valve anymore is causing this? It didn't have it with the carb either. I'm just trying to figure out why all the oil all of the sudden?

as long as there is oil in the engine and it has good oil pressure, wipe it up as best as possible and look at a few key places. Valve cover gaskets, the oil pressure sending unit area , and the intake valley tray. I don't run a PVC valve, I just use the push in breather with evac tubes in the headers. Birdtracker

I assume it has breathers instead of a PCV. If not, there's your problem.

I had two PCV, one on each side along with two breather caps on my old pump gas Duster motor to help reduce the oil blowing out of the caps on the street.
I did not drive it easy or hard all the time
It had a set of Cal Custom cast aluminum valve covers from day one on it with a six pack, 4.375 bore with 1/16,1/16, low tension 3/16 oil ring at first, 4.250 stroke with 9.25 to 1 compression ratio. Adding the other PCV and extra cap help a lot, let it breathe
I ended up changing heads to a set of MCH CNC ported Eddy RPM heads and crankshaft to a 4.300 stroke to increase the compression ratio to 10.29 to 1 and rering it to standard tension oil rings, which help a little but adding the two breathers and caps was the best change for the oil blow by

Clean up the engine first then put UV dye in the oil and run it,, get the glasses and light and look around. Been doing it this way for years with great success.

This is exactly where I think its leaking. I just don't understand why it wasnt an issue with the carb but it is now that the EFI is on it.
