Race, street or both?If race only I suggest a strut front end from the beginning because of weight. Depending on the vehicle an a arm conversion can get close to the weight of a stock type suspension if you are not careful.Especially if you trim all the nonessential junk from the stock k frame etc.Building a tube chassis A body ,using a strut system is THE one thing I regret not doing. I wish I had. Bought most of my components from A.R.T. in Clearwater Fl. Excellent quality products and customer service. Bill

Call around, my 1965 dart stock K bare member weighed 23 lbs. one of the older after market tubelar K members weighed 21 lbs. shock shruggy
What year car are you working on?
As mentioned in the post before mine you might be better off taking the car to a GOOD chassis shop and have them install a strut front end and motor plate for you twocents scope
