What tunnelram and carbs do you guys recommend for a 500 ci with indy sr heads soms port and polish y18 lift roller cam mainly race car use. I have an indy intake with dominator thanks

Use what you got to see if it will meet your needs
Every BB Mopar motor I've tested by adding more CFM, changing to bigger carbs, adding multiple carbs, six pack, dual quads and to twin dominators on a tunnel ram made the cars go quicker and faster

In a few more weeks i'll have this Indy tunnel ram on my 511 with twin 750 Thumpercarbs. This is something i have never tuned before, so i'm in for a schooling.

Dave, keep us informed how that runs, quickest ET with a single, and then your new ET...

I always wanted to do a tunnel ram with three Holley 2-barrels to look like a six pack.....I think it would look awesome....No idea how it would work though...

Depends on the whole combo like; weight, vert, gears, heads, cam, shift points, trap rpm's, altitude etc.....

Plenum volume and (to a lesser extent) distance from the throttle discs to the runner are tuning variables.

I think the indy tunnelram is way to big for a 511

Not even I know several Mopars running em n/a into the low 5's and better and a few run my billet 850ish carbs and a couple run 1050ish Dommy's. All about the combo......
