from what I have read and been told yes they do direct bolt on

Yes they do. I am 90% sure they come with the shock studs too. I can check tomorrow.

I called Smith, and the guy I spoke to , while really nice, was honest in saying he really didn't know if they came with studs or not.
He also mentioned a Mopar application used Camaro shocks.
I searched for pics and really only found one showing a A body where the shocks looked vertical.
I will call back and press harder. Thanks for the replies.

They do not come with studs or at least mine did not. But, it may be based on the car or pickup model the bars and mounting plates are for.
