Alternator belt cut the lower hose. He was lucky for sure! Some good driving also.

I wonder what he broke when he bounced it? Radiator or something big!

I believe it was the mission of that green Camaro to hit the wall, clearly not his first time either.

I wasnt there but it sure looks like he kicked it into neutral? Either way i hope its not too bad of a break for the owner.

I wonder why people try to purposely destroy things .....burn out contests, and people bricking a gas pedal on a engine without oil ...this does nothing for me, also the track allowing him to proceed with the broken front shock / tie-rod puzzles me. Maybe I'm getting to old.

The next year a local guy won with a small block Barracuda.

Kinda like demo derby guys. They build cars just for this contest and purposely wreck them for attention. The red RT is a real 440 4 speed car originally and he has owned it since 78. I'm sure he's having second thoughts now! Lol.

The owner of the red dodge is Steve Coash. He just put a procharger on it. I guess something flexed enough where the fan on the alternator cut into the lower radiator hose. BTW the Dart is for sale.

Yes,I've had enough. It time for someone else to have some fun. I've been running that car for 23yrs and I'm just ready to move on. This is the part I've always hated. Your lucky if you can get 50cents on the dollar for your stuff.
