Went to Cecil county streetcar shootout. Air was killer but track was not there 100% lots of cars were knocking the tires off.
First pass went a 5.15 with a cold 800lb bottle ( it was 55*) next pass had a 900 psi bottle but missed the front shock setting. Knocked the tires off.
Next pass went a 5.08, First round i lost but went a 5.07 , getting there slowly.....without just taking the easy route of upping the nitrous jet lol

UPcoming off season, have to figure out this 60' car probably needs a little more gear.
its 90lb over weight
and its getting to that time to max out the plate
the fastest cars are going 4.58 @ well over 150. I have been 140.56 , I think 145? might be my limit, then I need more motor I think lol

most likely yes, there are some issues that have to be figured out with the nitrous progressive, and gearing. There seems to be a lot of potential in the combination.

Understood. I was wondering if you might be coming back down to Cecil County again this fall so I could come check it out in person. Or, I'll get up their next spring...

Sounds like it is running really well and you continue to chip away at it. But by the sounds of it you are gonna need a lot more nitrous jet to keep up with the guys at the top.

Great running car for sure. The only huckleberry is this is new best weather at what was probably at one of the “super tracks” that always throw out killer runs this time of years. The test n tuners live for this time of year. Keep at it as I know you will. Josh just came out will his new rules and format for next years monster Mopar king of street class. We shall see if the no clocks on helps or hurts the car counts. The spectators will brobably hate it.

Plus its trial and error time with the gear. Im 1.48 X 4.10 right now. Popular? right now seems to be 1.52-1.58 with 4.29 or 4.56, but who really knows. These guys talk, but can you really trust them??? LOL

Yes air was killer, but the track was NOT. Also I was still probably 2 numbers too low on the carb jets as the AF was not where it has been when it runs its best MPH

Really.... no clocks? I hadn't heard that. As its an all Mopar show, mainly for fun, cant say as i like the idea of not knowing what these cars run. Takes a lot of the fun out of it.

B3422...I agree. I'd much rather see the clocks on. I understand there are some that grudge race and all, but having the clocks turned off sucks IMO.

n2omstr...It's funny what you said about not listening to other racers. I've found the same thing for the most part. A lot think the setup is all a big secret and don't want to help. Myself, I'd rather help someone out if I could. I've just decided to try stuff and see for myself.

My self, I think Josh is making a mistake. I honestly think the guys he changed the format for are not really going to support his race. BUT if they say the coming and want to race me with clocks off....BRING IT. DO they really want to show them getting beat or beating a 5.0 (for now, maybe faster by then ) car like me??? Whatever happens I don't car, I want to support the race and its fun.

As for getting advice from other Ultra Street guys...I don't ask, and I don't listen to what they offer, well with a grain of salt...lol
The record now just got plunged to a 4.53...discouraging to say the least. Im a test and tuner in Ultra, that's all. I cant afford the R and D that these guys do, the money they spend is crazy $$$$$

I better see if I've been "obligated" or "volunteered" to be somewhere else that day, or if I can actually make it this time.
