Alan at tcs was great to deal with. Simple custom converter for a street car at a Great price. Just thought I would share. Will update after installed.

That's almost too purdy to put in the car grin

Yeah, a work of art. What did it cost?

Very nice and clean. Interested in how it works and cost also.

To me, the welding looks iffy. Lots of filler material, and questionable rate and penetration.

I was always told if you have nothing nice to say then you are better off not saying anything at all. I will install the converter in the next couple weeks as time permits. Have used TCS before and nothing but Quality and Fantastic customer service. Alan I believe was good friends with the owner of Continental Torque Converters and everyone knows the quality of converters they built. My bet is the converter is exactly what the car needs. Time will tell...

Leigh, Iffy welding? You gotta be kidding. Welding is not for glamour. And lots of filler is a very good thing. As for penetration, did you X-ray it? Yeah if you can't say something nice, just keep it to yourself.

Interesting.... that many years in the business and I’ve never heard of them or talked to anyone that’s run their stuff out here.... and I’m 50 miles away from Havasu. Continental had a good following out here in the Kris Abrahamson era, but he’s no longer with us. Not saying they’re good bad or otherwise.... just an observation.

*and they’re right down the street from my favorite brewery EVER! Who knew??

Well installed the converter today in a 68 satellite wagon, mild 383 with a comp 509 nostalgia cam, 3.55 gear 727 deal. The converter is perfect, very well mannered on the street and puts a smile on your face when needed. Gotta say TCS hit the nail on the head with this one.
