Dominator Air Filters

Anyone use one of these?

I have 2 round K&N filters in a BDS scoop and they show no effect on my AFRs.

I'll stick w/ my little K&N for street driving and no air filter for racing. Actually it's no air filter at all, all the time now due to the taller intake manifold I put on.

That is a nice looking filter but for $ I went with a 1,000 cfm Wix 46927R but have not tested yet

3" tall Wix racing filter on a cheap summit brand 14" flat base. 8.50's @ 158MPH

I made my own in aluminium that sits nice inside the cowl hood...huge K&N panel filter on the top.

I am trying to fit this under my Shaker hood.

My goal this winter is to cut the scoop to fit an air filterr, and then bond another scoop on top of it. Looking for the best small air filter .

Well you didn’t say anything about Shaker Ebody pocket depth!

Sorry, I have an RC2 air filter, and does not fit with the hood and they don't seem to make those anymore...Just wanted to see if anyone used those other pricey ones...

I used a 16x2 air filter on my old Duster when I ran the Dominator carbs on it, I used a drop base from Universal Spinners up in Canada, I think
I bought one of there 2 inch and 3 inch drop base carb base plates, the two inch drop base worked great on my car

I have one of universal spinners 3” drop 16” bases and tops I ended up not using, pm me if interested in a good deal, as they are not cheap from them
