I run an L1600A as well with no issues. Price definitely sucks but weight savings are big

YOU GUYS USING AN ALTERNATOR WITH THIS BATTERY?

MY CAR IS STILL REGISTERED, BUT REALLY SEES NO STREET USE ANYMORE...LOL

I NEED TO GET 100LBS OFF THE CAR SO THIS IS A DECENT OPTION, PLUS THE UPGRADE FROM 12V TO 16V

I have used Turbo Start 16V batteries in a few of my cars through the years with good results. Go Lithium pricing is very attractive, here is a link their website http://www.golithium.com/catalog/THE_BATTERY-1-1.html and as you may be aware there is a long running thread on YB on 16V Lithium batteries https://www.yellowbullet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1508666&highlight=volt+battery.

No alternator for me either. Is one on the dragster however. The biggest issue will
be voltage output as most lithium’s do not tolerate the voltage that their AGM/conventional batteries do. I believe we have it turned down to 17.5 volt iirc max is 17.9 anything over that and you risk fore etc.

The big issue with lithium batteries and fires is overcharging. Using the wrong charger can and will
Cause a fire. All the ones I have seen have very specific voltage requirements when being charged.
