Magnum beer keg boost limit?

Does anyone use the magnum beer keg intake with boost? Assuming the stamped tin bottom plate is changed to a piece of 1/4" aluminum, I assume it should be ok up to 15 psi?

I would have the plate welded in place. Those intakes are known to move around, causing the gaskets to blow out under normal use.
