gotta be worth something .the casting is on the side.Has 6 bolt heads looks like the lightening program, billet 4 bolt mains,no oil filter pad,48deg block,I think maybe 2.25mains,cam bearing registers look diff than std.

Is it a siamese block? Measure the front and back
cam bearing holes, if they are the same size its a
50mm or 60mm cam . If its new you need to get it all
line bored/honed, mine was way off

Yeah, its just a casting number but I think if it has
this number its a siamese block, short deck(9" or 9.2)

I missed them they both, sold.1 had no lifter holes. Both had no machine surface for the oil filter or motor mount lugs.

Ok, well its either the 59* or the 48* and if you know small blocks you should be able to tell right away what lifter angle it has. All the other specs are definite unless the block has been machined, and the deck height is alot lower.

Alot of the R3 blocks didn't have the oil filter area machined.

I would still think this block is worth around $600 in this economy.

you'll have to figure out the lifter angle and the cam size 50mm or 60mm.

I new the deck was 9.20 and I read on the sheet somthing about 2.25 mains .They also had the extra head bolt holes. The blocks were upside down so I couldnt tell the angle. The mains were 4 bolt steel not the iron.

If it was the ford 2.25 main, it had the 60mm cam and 9 inch deck. that was the only version that was ford main for the old craftsman truck program.

I can't believe that no one has mentioned the two digits by the cast R3 logo. It's the last two digits of the real P/N
