Well it took 3 years but we did it. 5.98 pass

On its very last pass before I take it apart to freshen and after running 6.001 three or four times we finally got a 5 second pass out of it. I'm not really sure if I will do some upgrades to it over the Winter or just re-ring and new bearings. Its
been such a trouble free combo I hate to change anything. Its still a solid lifter cam combo so the only maintenance I've had to do all season was set the valves once and one oil change. Video of the 5.98 pass.

Congrats! I'm in the same spot. My best is 6.01 @ 112. Was trying for a 9.49 and ended up with a 9.502 @ 140. Next Year for sure!!

Thanks guys and you are right Brad I gotta get busy on it. I also have to get some knee issues addressed and get my fat butt to the Planet Fitness to get in shape. I honestly couldn't race my heads-up car by myself in the condition I am in now. If you would see me climbing in and out of my Dusters car window after its in my trailer you would die from laughter.

I love the 60ft and the nice wheelie....Wish mine would have gone that fast this year....What's the combo again? I have been 112mph in my when it was running 6.13's and 6.15's but the new 400 combo 's best ET this year was 6.19 at 110.5...

Thanks again guys. It’s worked good for me except at Dragway 42 were at the big dollar events the track prep has been spotty. I’ll probably avoid going there in the future as with the one or two time trials you get at these races it makes chassis tuning rough. I would like to upgrade the rear shocks as they are probably around 15 years old and I don’t even know what kind they are
