the bosses are there raw for the inner head studs need machining and drilling . I'm more looking at the drain back holes.

thanks they were not available for a long time not sure they are but this aluminum block should be able to be machined for standard Stage V heads not the conversions. But i do have loose plan involving the conversion heads for a 440 block stroker for a street car.

Looks like you would have to plug the top row of head bolt holes then install the upper row of through holes for the Hemi Head studs, add clearance for the push rods and add water passages...at a minimum

Thanks and yes a bunch of pushrod clearancing for sure. blocks start out bisexual then are made into wedge or hemi since i left bosses alone we should be able do drill and finish them to work with inner stud. looks like there is a blind hole where oil drain backs would be maybe just drill them through??

X2 on the Stage V heads
work better than stock heads
great people to work with
we've done several builds with them
factor in valve gear and 7/16 pushrods or better- bigger the better
Stage 5 has a jig for the clerance

I'm not man enough to tackle that job. I would sell the wedge block and buy a hemi block.

It's not a hard build
just takes some time with the grinder
must be even easier with an AL block
let stage V walk you through it

Thanks! I think the oil drain back holes should be easy enough looks like they are drilled 3/4" blind now going by pictures. has not been out for 4 years so i forget. It's in the car now should not be an issue drilling and machining the inner stud boss and clearancing for the pushrods. Going to go from my SR heads to 572's anyways and they need new pistons so then you go well I want a hemi so for a few dollars more?? LOL. Have run 9.65 @ 137.5 with the SR heads not looking to go that much faster just because! I may deal with FHO on the heads, intake and rockers for sure. he's only 2 hours away. But $$$$
so thanks again

Glad you pointed out the additional water. Thanks again. In the end will talk with Tim Banning at FHO before I start. Head gaskets should help as a template as well.
