Have finally realized my dream, racing one anyway, to have a lightweight gm roller to put my stuff in. This one was too good to pass up, can't wait to run the IHRA T/S World Final in it!!

ps, it is a 2002 TNT racecars chromoly firebird built is 2005 wired/plumbed for 2 stages complete with digital progamable ignition, racepak1000, BTE glide and 10" nitrous convertor, 16volt system w/charger, accuvolt, Lamb struts and carbon brakes, carbon fiber tubs, and more... Weighs in at 2170# minus driver

haters be hatin', don't worry I can take it. ?? is, can you beat me!!

Top Sportsman is my favorite class. IHRA needs to take their skirts off however and let you dial faster than 7.60! I am sure you remember the Foxwoods deal back when you ran Lebanon up here. Last year at the Divisional, they had a preset 7.30 or faster minimum, ( not the bump)to even compete.

Whats the history on the car? Looks like a cool ride, and doesnt matter what it is, if its fast and has a big ole fire breathin motor, its all good. Would be cool to see a Predator engine in it.

Anyhow, congrats, go live the dream and best of luck with it.

thanks guys, comp just to clarify 7.60 is max dial meaning slowest et allowed!! it is 8.0 and 5.30 at divisional but they get it on at Nationals!!

as far as history, original owner from MN where car was built fell on hard times and sold 2 years ago, deja vu for seller I bought it from they only made 8 passes, went 4.70 with 525ci Schmidt motor and NOs

I am putting the 604ci in it.
Unless it sells I will probaby run 1-2 more S/G races with the Dart then put the 555ci back in the digger for brackets.

You just have to do whatever makes you happy! I was sooo close to owneing a 67 nova before the cuda..I'm more into the racing aspect of it. but for muscle cars gotta go mopar!

Do you have any plans for paint down the road? like graphics or something? Or are you good with blue?

Man that's a great looking chassis, the cover needs a little work but you'll have that Avenger back to lookin as good as new with a little fiberglass work and some elbow grease!

as for color, I love the blue but do feel it needs some detail. Of course I will have to sticker it up for div/nat events to that will break things up alot. I will also do some minor detail work on the front clip it has the firebird emblem license plate and firebird written on one of the headlite covers, probably do some carbon fiber look on the vents.

as for debut, no big hurry but my objective is to be running by Sept 1 so I have 2 full months to race it before going to Rockingham. That said, it will probably hit the track before summer!

It is not the red car in that pic, this is the original paint.

I love the car, the hood scoop, the color, a very sweet ride. I just hate the big dance floor wings, If I ever get a chassis car I will have to get an old pro-stocker. Very nice though, I will have to ck it out at the Rock.

I believe it is the red car, I watched that car crash with a huge fireball at the NHRA divisional in June of 05. The Corvette in front of the red car belongs to his son I believe. Original paint.....did you get the matching numbers block and build sheet too...only driven on Sundays, except for the saturday night I saw it crash. It actually wasn't that bad after the crash, looks like they did a great job of rebuilding it.

I like the bat mobile look. I say paint it flat black, anodize the wheels black. It would be a nightmare to race against at night

if it is rebuilt they basically started from scratch...
After cleaning the entire chassis I am very impressed with it's quality. The little things like seatbolt brackets with nutserts all with easy access to change belts

It was more the delivery then the message

thanks ronp! ya know what's funny, I've won in every car I've owned except a certain yellow duster!!

Of course I owned it less then one year but broke parts practically every time out. But you know what, I still had fun

that duster still gets me excited! Perhaps you could bring it to the Rock in October??
I know you were joking but let it be known, I am nowhere near rich. I took a huge leap buying this car with the sole purpose of winning the World Championship. Figured I might as well spend whats left of my retirement before it all evaporates into thin air.

Hope the mopar gods are kinder to you than they were to me, Sold my mopar race car and bought a 55 Chevy, 6 months after I got it some @#$#@# runs into me as were going through the lights!
You may have seen me at the Snowbirds, I was the one who was upside down at 135mph!!
