Pretty cool,but unfortunately he will not get the $10,000 bonus for first in the 7's unless he does it again in qualifying or eliminations.

o Cars with a 2.3L Eaton supercharger must weigh a minimum of 3,300 lbs.

Very Cool! The results from that qualifying round were pretty amazing, 8.0s for a good majority of the top 10. Two of the top 3 being Challengers, the #3 spot ran more mph than Turk did.

That was a very clean and straight pass

Read over at Competition Plus that it was an all mopar final
Welch takes out Barton with an 8.07,,, Barton get the holeshot on Welch, and Welch run him down in high gear.
Turk takes out Holbrook with a 8.08.
Welch took out Turk 8.02 to 8.12 in finals.. Turk got a little squirrelly off the line.
