What ever happened to Fast Eddie " Elvis " ?

It has been a long time since his name was even mentioned on here . What ever happened to him ? I Know he was a crap talker but his Duster would really roll.

He got his car back together a few months ago, all aluminum 572 wedge with EFI now. it was moving out pretty good at PBIR in west palm FL. He hasn't changed much though

He is all over Facebook! Still likes to talk crap... still has the purple duster too.

Spot on.

Eddie is a character, and I've been able to talk with him while on Drag Week. He's actually a decent guy, and was helpful when HEMI Joel and I were replacing a alternator at one of the stops. Yeah he talks a lot of smack on the forums, but in person, I can't say one bad thing about him.

If Eddie acted the way he does on the internet in person he would have probably had a funeral by now lol.

I do believe the Cadillac is his, getting Gen III Hemi Power with a turbo or two. At least that is his story!

Eddie has a 426 g3 for his Caddy. I think he is having billet pistons carved for it now. I still talk to him regularly

Back a few years ago ,he sure kept this site active. Maybe not in a good way but it was really active. LOL

My recollection was that Eddie was banned on Moparts years ago. This was after being told this was NOT Yellow Bullet more than once.

At the end of Drag Week 2013 at the awards ceremony he stood up to tell everyone he was really a nice guy. Which I guess he can be in person, however the keyboard flaming and excuses for not being as fast as someone else continued.

However I do think he has mellowed with time.

On DW 2016 a relative with a long ram in either a late fifties or early sixties Mopar completed. I think Eddie was instrumental in the build. It was not fast but the cool factor was high. I am sure Billy has a photo.

Hes a good dude, just very opinionated as we all can be, he just was born without a filter. Cant blame him for that.

Good dude, wealth of knowledge, great machinist, and loves to be in camera.

I talked with him back years ago when he was on here. As a matter of fact if I am not mistaken I have an older x block he once had. He seemed okay to talk with but some of his post on here were off the charts.

From what everyone says, he seems to have a "filter" when not hiding behind a computer screen.

Besides what everyone else has said, there was also the issue where he took a few members on here for a bunch of dough. Promised some builds took their money and never came through. I know, two sides to every story but not sure if he ever made right on those transactions.

To be colorful is one thing, but a to be a thief is another.

Enjoyed the guy besides that though.
