Compression Height

I have searched the net trying to find the C/H of a stock 360 piston.I have seen 1.576, 1.626, 1.720 Does anyone here know what the C/H is? I am trying to find out the difference between a KB-107 (1.675) and a stock piston and I do not have a stock one to measure.

Most stockers were lower than the KB for sure The KB represents a piston that will come near the top--they may actually list deck room in KB book
That is the only reason KB has ever been able to sell that overpriced cast stuff is simple fact they produce them with enough CH to come within .025 or less of the top The KB catalog is chock Full of info if you study it
It was your best bet but now Wiseco is making a line of cheapo quality forged lite weight pistons called Street ProTru they are zero features like no pin oiling etc But they come with rings and are Cheaper than the KB stuff It is truly best bet for 360 and 440 at the moment for decent lite piston cheap as anything available and cheaper than many cast units

Which year 360? The 1971 to 1973 where flat tops with no valve reliefs and after that they went to a dish piston in all the car motors
I use several sets of the old TRW forged stock replacement 1971 to 1973 pistons for 360 build, I think I ended up around 9.6 to compression with stock 1972-73 916 (J) small valve heads
