B&M flex plate question

With a 360 and using a B&M flexplate, do I need to have the weight welded to the convertor? Here is the flex plate in question.

No weight. Read the testimonials in the ad from Summit. The cutout on he B & M should be 180 degrees from the weight on a production flexplate.

I read them, just wanted to make sure.
