EZ EFI No Start condition/ COMM ERROR - 09/20/17 11:53 PM

Well my EZ EFI finally crapped out, anybody familiar with this setup?
I have a no start condition and the computer reads "COMM ERROR"
The tech assistance on their site seems non existent
I sent an e mail and I'm waiting to hear from them.

Gawd I had one, it seems so long ago...I had some initial troubles with mine as the wiring in a 40 Mopar still sucks plus the added 40 years of abuse.

Generally, if I remember, I had to run dedicated wires for the direct connection for power and ground. Everything in the vehicle is useless. Also had a lot of trouble finding a good keyed 12v wire.....An MSD system can muddy up the signal as well....keep it away from that.

Actually this is the first dual quad setup from them, my car was featured in Mopar Muscle for the install.
I haven't had any problems till now.

So if it ran good and is now an issue...Check for a loose connection. Probably a ground.

Check with a voltmeter on Ohm setting and see where you have the highest resistance. If all that is good, check positive wires with a test light and wiggle them while testing.

If all my bad advice fails....Call Rich at FastManEFI on here....

COMM ERROR in general refers to network communications. Is there an external control module with a twisted pair buss wires? As stated before, check powers and grounds, but also check anything relative to buss network wiring. Anything that will stop any talking to the rest of the system (ie: throttle bodies) should be suspect. After that, it is usually an internal controller failure.
Note: This is all my opinion from my experience as a Level 3 Chrysler Tech and shop foreman.

An MSD can probably interfere with it as well if its close by or the wires for it are.

I still haven't heard from fast,no emails or calls yet, this system(including the ignition) has been on my car since 2010 and it's been trouble free till now.
The computer does not light up anymore so I assume that's the main problem.

Looks like the ECU has failed. Ship it back.
