How do we know what they are referring too. They didn't say anything. We already had posts about less races and burnout contests so hopefully it isn't about that again.

It's going to be rebranded as Pro Camaro

Factory boosted cars are now allowed. FCA 4 cyl (Fiat/Dart) cars will get a 25lb weight break.

Unboosted cars can run nitrous. Tricky Ricky wins every race for the next 5 years.

The new mandated tire will be a 235 drag radial, the nhra feels it will bring some much needed excitement to the class.

They totally ruined it when they made the switch to efi... said it before and will keep saying it. So unless they are dumping the efi, I don't care.

I'd like to see them run a real car. Not cartoon shaped bodies that all look the same no matter the manufacturer decal on the front.

All qualifying will now be done using Big Wheel races to the 60-ft clock. This will reduce the wear and tear on the cars in order to maximize participation in the all-important burnout contest.

Totally Agree. When Prostock started they where basically Outlaw Super Stock and everybody loved it that way. NOW they are under powered funnycars with doors.

I expect the factories are pushing for the late model Factory Stock cars to have a bigger presence. Especially when 2 of them have walked away from Pro Stock.

I was in Greeneville yesterday, and heard.

I was checking in on Pro Stock on occasion but it now seems like I don`t need to bother.

I told you all, it's going to be Pro Camaro.

With Allen Johnson retiring, can't they just call it Pro Suck already?

I kind of expected it after his rough season this year, he was a great ambassador for Mopar. Now Pro Stock will be just like the old IROC series with every car being the same, a Camaro, Way to go NHRA !!!

I do agree with that. I call them generic race cars. NHRA will finally get what they wanted an all GM (Camaro) Pro Stock show. Heck they started pushing for this in 1972 when they slowed the Mopars since they could not have the number 3 car manufactor dominate Pro Stock back then in 1971 when GM had the most money and showed politics is even in NHRA racing. Myself I have not watched a Pro Stock race in two years and the only reason I even checked on them now and then was because I have always liked AJ and his team. I wish AJ and his dad the best in life and dont blame them one bit for getting out of Pro Stock. Ron
