A little Mexico action. - 05/11/17 07:14 AM

Made some winter changes and finally getting it out and stretching its legs against a 1xxx whp mustang. Slowly sneaking up on the tune up. Made a few mistakes that I'm kicking myself for(shortshifted big time) but it was a really close race. Had a blast, despite losing to a car with way more power.

Every thread on Moparts should have a theme song smile

I mean, cool isn't it? obvious Santana thing, but so what, it's good.

Great vid!

Anyplace thats straight and level and traffic free is a good place to run. Much better then some on crowded city streets with fifty people around.

He got you easily though and the short shift didnt matter/wouldnt matter in this case, it looks like even your camera man was a bit shocked, he had the camera pointed way back but the stang was in his blind spot on the march.

What combo are you running now and what changes have you made?

What block? Didnt you hurt one last year?

Dont fret too much about the stang, there will always be a faster car and we dont pick cars to race that we dont think we cant beat. But if you know the guy well, now its a good base for you to tune against to improve on in real world time.

Keep posting, mexican vids rock!

408/ 80mm cast wheel turbo. Filled block.

Went from a 904/8.75 to a glide/60. The whole one shift thing really has me messed up. I click it into high way too soon, but that mustang is no joke. It's went low 9s at 160mph last weekend.

I love your car. That video you posted last year of you walking away from that Vette was awesome.
