Team G replaced with Victor 440 - 04/23/17 09:04 PM

My car has a 446" motor with a Team G intake it runs 5.87@115 1/8 mile. If I put a 440 Victor intake what should I expect it has a 1050 Dom.

Is the Team G a dommy flange? If so you need an adapter which is 2" taller plus needs to be blended into the runners in the manifold. A super Vic would work in that case and I run the Victor w/the 2" adapter w/great results into the 9's street car.......... thumbs

I guess I need to tell more, it has 516 383 heads with bigger valves, .670cam, it has TRW popups 13.5compression fitted to the head. 1923 Alter. ran 9.53@140, 1.28 60'.

A bud of mine had a low deck 451, 1050, TM-6 with 2" adapter
He changed to a Team G with the 4500 flange, car fell off .05-.08
I would think a Victor would be far better than a Team G

I would definitely expect the Victor to be faster. The Weiand Team G is one of the worst flowing manifolds.
I went a tenth and a half quicker on a mid 11 sec combo by going from a Team G to a Holley Street Dominator on a 440.
