It's a r3 48° block with w9 heads cnc'd Brett Miller, they have 2.20 and 1.60 valves in them. It has t&d 1.8 rockers on it. Has a heavily modified 598 intake on it. The headers are Brian Smith's old set which are 2 in to 2 1/8 with four inch collectors. It's 15 to 1 compression with diamond pistons and sports a 4.165 bore. Cam shaft is top secret, just kidding I don't know the specs on the cam.

Not to shabby for a 981 hp small block Na.

The pics on yb show the bottom head stud bosses removed on the heads.. did they start out as 59* pieces?

Re: Killer 447 W9 motor on dyno - 03/27/17 04:52 AM

Yes started out using customer's 59° r3 block and he found a 48° block and purchased that. It started as a small bracket engine and got a little carried away.

Oh, don't be surprised. You are probably 1 of 15 or so Mopar guys that is not too cheap to build something like this. But yes, that engine is very impressive

Drag week? Screw that!
"All week" at every corner!
To stomp everyone!

Now that hard part... to come up with the scratch to build it....
