SGMP Mopar race?

Anybody know if we will have another Memorial weekend Mopar race this year at SGMP?

As of right now its not on the schedule.

Girl friend and I are itching to bring up the 2 GTXs again

A friend of mine is going ask at next weeks S.Ga Mopar association meeting. The club does not head the show up anymore, I really dont know who does. Im just hoping someone will have some info

NADA. I emailed Jimmy Owen (dragstrip manager), and sent a messeage to their FB page. It still is not listed on the schedule.

Latest info is that they are trying to get it rescheduled for the first week of November with Petty's Garage being involved again. But nothing definite yet.

I wonder how we might help generate some interest in the event? Losing the southern nats just plain sucks. The race had a couple good years, but rain, fire, and later poor attendance crushed it. I never saw it advertised, even when it was at Reynolds.

Would someone give me the contact info for the people who may be running it?

Ozzy Moya is the track operator. Yesterday he was talking about the first weekend in November is open at SGMP. If you send Wade Rich an email wade@raceosw.com he can get you in touch with Ozzy. Wade is the manager at OSW.

Was disappointed no mopar event this year at SGMP

They need to promote, last event was so low on car count, they probaly lost $$$. I was looking forward to going again with the Valiant GRRR
