727 Aluminum Pan - 02/14/17 12:29 AM
I need another transmission pan 3" or so deep and the filter spacer. Is the B&M OK? Any suggestions?
I already have the factor steel 2 1/2" pan but need a little more clearance.
Thanks.

I run the B&M aluminum cast pan on my street car, it's HEAVY. Race car has a 265-827 Dorman 518 pan. 3" deep.

Does anyone know how thick the spacer is that comes with the Summit pan?

Nice. Makes my MP steel deep pan look rather pedestrian.

Have had that B&M pan. Liked it. Sealed good, didn't leak

All the spacers I've seen are short, around 2" I made a 1" extension'.

I have one that is 1", it will take 1 3/8-1/2" to clear the tb solenoid. I'll call Summit and B&M tomorrow.
I run the B&M pan. It's nice, has temp sender boss and magnetic drain plug. But I too was surprised how heavy it is. It comes with two stackable extensions. 1-1/4" & 3/8"; stackable to 1-5/8".

Not sure how deep the Cope Racing Transmission pan is, but it is nice with a billet filter extension.

Yep, bought one for my Dart and used the reusable gasket that Chrysler makes.
