Has anyone used their service? My mamma also told me when something sounds too good to be true is normally is NOT! But there is always exceptions

That treatment sounds like micro polishing that has been used in Hi Po motors and drive train parts for a long time

They treat big truck engine and drivetrain parts with it and people I've spoken to that use it claim it reduces hub temps on wheel ends and reduced oil temps in trans and diffs as well as engine. This would imply reduced friction.

NASCAR teams use it so there must be something to it.

No they haven't. Again, this is NOT an additive. This is basically micro polishing, which does work. Racers pay thousands of dollars for low drag wheel bearings, center sections and the like. The difference, the parts are micro polished and it DOES make a difference.

Now, is it worth it for the OP? Can about guarantee NO

I read it as a 1 micron coating not a polishing.

It's not a coating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Take the time to study the website before spouting off.

It is, as Monte said, micropeening. The claims to create a harder and smoother surface are not claims that fit with a coating, unless we're talking about diamond-like coating whch is used extensively in NASCAR and other pro racing venues.

The smooth surfaces found on things like intake manifolds are obtained by ball burnishing, which uses larger diameter, softer balls.
