small block Victors with pics - 11/29/16 05:22 PM

Finally got my heads and rockers. Posting up some pics for people that want to see the production head. The rockers are available now from Crower, and they have the dimensions to cut the heads, or Edelbrock will sell you them ready to accept the Crower shaft rockers. The Crower's use offset intake and exhaust to help correct the geometry. Let the critique begin!!

It looks like the head is set up for shaft oiling? So you'll plug that and PR oil?

Does Crower use an existing rocker on their new stand? maybe a cheaper chevy one lol. They look awesome, the BB version needs the same treatment!

Edit: I assume this is them? https://www.crower.com/rocker-arms/ss-shaft-rocker-for-edelbrock-sb-chrysler.html

Those look very nice, I still think the exhaust bolt pattern is goofy. These would make a nice replacement for the W2s on my 416. I was thinking of selling my old 360 to fund some of these but I am not sure its worth enough money lol.

Heads and rockers look NICE! as I was looking at the head deck pictures I noticed that the heads are set up for 18 bolt design and it looks like the holes that go in to the lifter valley are tapped witch makes me think that you would put a stud in like the Gen 2 Hemi. On all of my R3 blocks the block is tapped for a bolt or stud. Am I seeing this wrong or is there something I an missing?
Thanks for the post

Yes they look threaded. Someone brought up the same question on one of the previous posts.

Yes, all the bolt on rail rockers, Crower, T&D, Jesel, pushrod oil. I have my block tapped and a threaded plug, but the stand blocks the hole, so not really necessary.

I was ready to throw the towel in so many times!! Can't thank Rick Roberts at Eddy and Don Flanagan at Crower enough for pushing through a Mopar product! I wore them out!

Not that I'm aware of, but possibly an existing stand. The rockers are "standard", so that helps with cost.

5.56 length

2.150 intake

1.60 exhaust

They come with 45* seats and the valve job looks pretty nice.

The rockers are in Crower's catalog now, I think $1600-ish from a dealer. Heads are still spendy, about $1900 each, bare with CNC port and chamber from dealers.

They use any LA intake.

Now if we could only arrange a "group buy" on the heads and rockers. I'm in. whistling

Got my Brodix and Jesels for sale in the classified. All new and much cheaper than the Eddy's and Crowers!
