Happy For Capps

He took the Championship...clinched it on the
little points... very happy for him... took him
a long time... but he finally got it

I am happy for him as well!

Glad to see him finally get the championship! He has finished 2nd 4 times.

He is now no longer the best driver to not win a championship.


I like Capps. Liked him even more after he jacked Bazemore's jaw.

Good guy, very happy for his team!! I was there when he won his first pro race, on a Tuesday. It was neat because there were no crowds and you could talk to the pros like it was a bracket race. Rare that you ever get a day like that at a national event.

The day I retired I went to Norwalk for the NHRA
run.. got into the Capps suite for lunch and BSed
with Ron a good bit.. plus seen him at Chrysler
with the funny car(he was doing a little show..
a burn out for the CTC people and I was BSing with
him there also... very nice guy

I am still hoping to see Doug Kallitta (SP?) win a top fuel championship

The wife and I went to the recent Las Vegas race and stopped by Capps pit. I told him like the Chicago Cubs, this was going to be his year. Bridesmaid no longer!

Happy for him too, it is about time! Will next year be Tommy Johnson's year?

Yes, Congrats. He hooked the horn on the tow vehicle and waved to us at Englishtown this year because we were wearing mopar hats and shirts
